I’m a married father of three and have been a journalist for 26 years. I love my work and feel very privileged to earn my living through words.

My career has enabled me to report on news and sports events around the world, interview fascinating people, and bring stories to life.

Since going freelance in 2002, I have written for national newspapers, consumer magazines, trade publications, and websites, on a variety of subjects.

As far as specialist areas are concerned, I love writing about business – especially the plight of smaller firms,  personal finance, investment, property, and sport.

My personal interests are just as varied, although I have a particular passion for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, motorsport, and Fulham Football Club – even if the latter is more of a love/hate relationship.
